ABOUT SIMONE HENG
Simone Heng is a human connection specialist and award-winning author. She holds a degree in Communications and Cultural Studies from Curtin University of Technology in Western Australia and has studied speechwriting in the UK under the former speechwriters of both Boris Johnson and Tony Blair.
As one of the youngest certified professional speakers in the world, Simone has spoken to thousands, including audiences at Harvard University, SXSW, Google, Meta, Amazon, ByteDance, and the United Nations. Her insights on human connection have been featured by Al Jazeera, Forbes, Harvard Business Review, BBC Radio, and numerous other global platforms.
Born in Singapore, Simone has lived, studied, and worked across multiple continentsâstudying in Switzerland, growing up in Australia, and building her early career in the United Arab Emirates.
Before becoming a global speaker and author, she was a broadcaster for HBO Asia, CNBC, Virgin Radio Dubai, and Southern Cross Austereo.
Her book, Letâs Talk About Loneliness, published by Hay House, the worldâs largest personal development publisher, has received multiple international accolades. These include the 2024 Silver Nautilus Book Award in the Social Justice and Social Change category and the 2024 Gold eLIT Award for Best Audiobook in the Self-Help category.
